boost gauge question?

boost gauge question?

Postby shocar4 » Fri Jul 07, 2006 6:03 am

hey guys this is not really a question about a boost gauge, but i was looking at my engine lastnight and i noticed that my supercharger has a line coming out of the top of it (right where the boost gauge line goes) and this plastic tubular line runs through my firewall into my dash and over by my glove compartment!!! any help on where this is going or what exactly this is running....i want to install a gauge, but i have to find out where this goes first......

Find the end of the line! I'm pretty sure the previous owner had a gauge. I'll bet he kept the gauge when he sold you the car.

^^see that's the thing, i can't find any sign of a boost gauge other than that! i followed the hose as far as i could and it runs behind the glovebox...i am going to take the gb out tonight so that i can investigate, but you would think that it would be on the other side of the car!

DONT WORRY! That boost line goes to the Splic Second FTC which is lolcated behind the dash. The FTC has a boost input to aid in tuning the car in relation to boost.

IF you want to install a boost gauge you will need to t off off the other line.
