i just got a wet nitrous kit, and i am wanting to install it myself. The only problem i am worried about is tapping into my fuel line. Has anyone installed nitrous on their solara? or can any one give me some help or hints? 2001 SLE V6

Hmm... I'm just shaky about cutting the line and making sure its secure when I add the T fitting. What should I use to tap it with a T?

Just cut the line and put the T in with the orginial line being connected by the parallel ends, and the hose going to the solonoid connects to the other. Make sure you have the proper size hose to runt he fuel to the solenoid and I would also strongly recommend using clamps on the hoses at the t connections. I havebn't installed nitrous on a Solara before, but I have a kit ready to go, bottle fille din my garage, I just changed my spark plugs to iridiums so now I'm finally good to go. I've scoped out the situation plenty so it should all go smoothly, but in either case, that's the way to tap the fuel line.

Good luck.

I guess thats PART of what i am asking. My real concern is WHAT to use for the t fitting. One of those little plastic ones from the local auto shop? Or should I use 1/4" pressure fittings like I did for all the other parts of the system? Again, I've had the dry setup in my car for about a year, and it is all good, I just need to add in the fuel solenoid and new jets
