MP90 Custom S/C Dyno Testing Scheduled

Judging by my previous 1/4 mile times with a bunch of my camry and solaras and the undersized TRD charger , this MP90 kit should be put a 5 speed v6 camry/solara in the 12.8-13.2 at 107mph-110mph 1/4 mile on low to moderate boost.

Low to moderate is a relative term. Are we talking low as in 4-6 and moderate as in 7-10? Or higher than that? It would be amazing to see a Solara run 12s. How high do you think this charger is capable of boosting on the 1mz. Just out of curiosity, if the engine and tranny were built to be bomb-proof. Would it be possible to run near 20psi or even 40-45psi? I would die if I saw a Solara running boost that high.

If your full FULLY! built(i cannot stress how much you have to be fully built) maybe slapping on a 10psi pulley would create 15 psi, but i doubt we will be able to ever reach 20 or higher.

and hopefully no one is planning on buying this and expecting to throw it on a stock 1mz. Im pretty sure if you throw on a 4psi pulley you will peak at 7psi, so most likely you will hear that motor pop real quick!

Thought there were trd chargers running 8psi out there with no real issues.
Would these two chargers be putting out silimar power with the mp90 being cooler?

You should build up your car's motor and do heavy boost and see, I know if my car was SC'ed I would always find ways to get even more power. Its never enough.

Yeah, if I ever get the $$$$ I will build a bomb-proof 1MZ and boost the ever-living SH!T out of it. Until then, I can dream.

yep running 8psi on meth. why do you think frank(jetbtkng) is being the first one for this being tested on. He has a semi built motor.

I just wanted to show this thread some love. The thought of a handful of you guys clowning on cocky ass drivers who act like Solara's are pieces of shhh makes me happy.
