Another truck we used on countersunk screws on RC cars that would strip would be to slot it with a dremel and back it out with a flat head screwdriver, but there might not be enough room for a screwdriver in there.

i dunno wat it looks like, but if u can fit an allen wrench in there
they have these ratchet screw drivers like are like small socket wrenches but with screw driver bits

Well I found out it's a 6mm allen head metric. If you try to use a regular allen wrench it will not seat properly in the bolt head. Does anybody have the OEM part number for the bolt?

vik is very secretive about his bolts... since it was a trd part its very hard to get a hold of them now I guess. The part number might be in the TRD SC manual though, Im not sure.

the thing is, even if u call with a part number, ur gonna get the "no we dont sell that any more"

which most of the members on the board have heard.

TRD wants nothing to do with the 1mz's SC or its parts, even though they have a stock load of it.... exactly (92) alternator bolts from the last time i checked :evilbat:

Negative on the part number in the installation manual it just gives the bolt dimensions 10MM x 1.25MM x 100MM counter sunk head. Why the secrecy on the part number? if there is that many left and we all have our own vin number then why not share. I'm not trying to corner the bolt market.

Vik is the only one that can get the bolts, TRD is worthless to contact. Not even worth the try.

So by your own admission most means not all. I work for a car dealership and when doing purchase orders from our local Toyota dealer I only deal with the parts manager. I'm not Joe Blow retail customer off the street so I don't get the same attitude that others may get. If you say no one else can get it, then why are you so secretive about the part number? it should not matter.

Wow you still dodged the question and I'm suppose to believe they have 92 bolts left but they dont have a part number or some form of inventory control.

it is kind of lame youre so secretive about the bolts vik. Its just a stupidd bolt... there is no part number, but vik has a contact at TRD that he made by chance and can get the bolts. Its not like he can get superchargers or EGR tubes or anything, so it isnt anything extremely rare...

Im not taking sides here, just saying. Vik has found a way to get us the parts that TRD doesnt want him to disclose, so just get them from him. He doesnt gouge the price or anything, he just likes being able to contribute to the community.

You could order that bolt from a hardware place anyway, it isnt like its some incredibly rare and strange piece of metal. If you have the length and thread pitch you can get one from somewhere.
