ok, so, after replacing the O2 sensors front and back, clearing the codes the car has been running perfect. but, the check engine light just came back on and its almost the same damn codes. (bank 1 only) sensor malfunction, slow response, and a bad cat efficency code too. however, the car runs fine, the same as it did right after replaceing the snesors and clearing the codes the first time. :x

before ya ask, thes o2 sensors were bought from a toyota dealership and are toyota OEM.

could the sensor have gone bad? is there somthing that could be causing the sensor to malfunction? this car is about ready to be inspected so i can finally start driving it more then once a week(to exercize it). the sensors have been in for about a month and no problems till now.

hmmm... a slow response quite often comes with a lean code, since once the sensor is over heated, it doesn't work as needed....

have you been able to check the spark plugs at all in the firewall bank to see how they are?

also, how is your idle? any vacuum leaks at all?
