keep it on a shelf. Oil doesn't go bad after some time.

Buy a couple kits for the future if you like.

Cool, I got the kit - thanks again siennasc98. My mechanic is going to do the change since he's taking the charger off to put in the new 370cc injectors. I also got another one on it's way. I guess some sites have to order from the dealer, so you have to wait for them to get it. But, TRDparts4u told me they do have some in stock, since they are a dealer, so they can ship faster.

A LITTLE of topic but what is the time a SC with oil can sit if it hasen't been installed ...????

Oil does not have an expiration date. It can easily sit around for the lifetime of your car.
