What couplers do I need to rebuild the nose drive of my TRD Supercharger? Where can I buy them? I've never rebuilt a nose drive. Is it easy enough to do myself?

I have use the ceramic bearings.
You can do it your self but is not easy.


It will cost you a lot of time

Those couplers come with the supercharger oil change kit.

I got mine from TRDparts4u.com, but I dont see it there anymore

I have a spare coupler on my workbench. I ordered it to replace my old one while doing an oil change on the nose drive, but didn't need it as my old one was still tight. lemme know if you wanna buy it - i'll sell it to you for the same price i paid - about $15.

like others have said, replacing the nose drive bearings is best left to a shop, and you might as well send them the whole s/c so they can also replace the rotor bearings. PSE superchargers is the factory-authorized place to get the whole thing rebuilt. i have no experience with them, but have spoken to them on the phone and they're pretty straight up about everything - no surprises. Not cheap, but it sure sounds like they know what they're doing.

I thought I could do the same and turns out not only the front bearings but the rear bearings were shot. The coupler was fine. So if your hearing a weird noise from the SC, kinda like metal grinding... yea, I'de just send it in and save yourself the time and headache.
