you have a big vacuum leak....I'd say from the egr port that you didn't properly cover and seal

on the occasion that you revved it, it sounded okay.

but also sounds like one of the pulleys might have a bad bearing in it....but kinda hard to tell since the audio sucks lol

omg so my brakes are jacked up too..
like theres no air or something.

hmm so i gotta oneway PCV valve and since it didnt fit on the IAC hose. so i put the valve that was on the brake booster on the IAC hose and the pcv valve one way on the brake booster hose.
im thinking that maybe it.. but im not so sure.

And no CELs .. what gives?!?

yea that was exactly the problem with the brakes... so i got that fixed and drivable.

The problem now is the super retarded idle. With my ghetto blockage it idles rough and the belt look like its jumpin around and stuff. Scary... so i have to keep the rpms up and shift into neutral when coming to a stop or rolling at a slow speed. but its at least drivable. driving at least normal speeds you cant even tell anything is wrong.

so i got the egr fitted today. And now instead.. it just dies instead of rough idling. weird... u would think itd at least get better right? hmm so we took off the pipe again and sure enough it was at least staying on but just rough idling. So then i got the guy to block it off with the pipe on. It does the same, rough idles like it wants to die. worse than i had when i blocked it off in my ghetto foil way but at least it stayed on unlike when the egr was on and not blocked off. I dont get it.

so this must definitely have something to do with the egr.

so what could this be...
vacuum leak somewhere? that has to do it.

maybe the oneway valve i have on the IAC hose sucks?

would a vacuum leak anywhere in general have something to do with my egr problem?

No CELS or anything. should i get it scanned anyway? would my cpe box prevent me from getting any cels? i dunno im thinkin it might be intercepting signals or something. Or maybe the because the cpe kinda takes away the ecu learning ability or whatever it is that allows it to run the 3.5"? but it cant be that cuz there are a couple who have cpe and supercharged.

would getting a tune get it solved?
and if so.. then my dilemma is i got headers coming in. Should i just get everything on and then get a tune and see if that solves it?

have you double checked all of your vacuum hoses and made sure that everything is connected in there correct places?

its not the cpe and its not the intake in anyway

check that your egr is working so that it's closed and not open- if it's open, it's basically a major leak that will not let your car idle

check and double check your iac hose and your brake booster hose as well.

then check for vacuum leaks using throttlebody cleaner

check all gaskets that were used for vacuum leaks

we blocked off my EGR when we put the JP exhaust on, but not the same part of it youre thinking of... we left the s/c egr tube on but blocked it off where it connects to the rear header. I have a CEL for it now, but it idles and runs fine.

ok so dats told me to try to run without the oneway valve on the iac hose. I tried it. and i put another vacuum cap in this pic - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v437/ ... C02926.jpg on the big plastic filter to the right of the bottom vaccum camp and it a little better but still very rough. Not like its gonna die though.

yea went and got it scanned.
only th obvious came up
the insufficient egr flow. Other than that nothing.
man i wanna figure this thing out. But taking off that oneway valve on the iac definitely helped. Im sure thats not good though.

So still havent got an answer? what does your one way valves look like?? i might try and get another one and see if that helps.

Checked all related supercharger except the PCV hose.
swapped out my IAC hose with another unused hose i had.
retorqued the supercharger and TB bolts.
and decided to unblock the egr to see what would happen.

it stays on but still idles really rough. I think i should probably take off the strutbar since its idling like that. I think thats what makes it sound even worse with the rattling against it.

the CEL finally came on. Too lean bank 1. Confirming the vacuuming leak.
im probably gonna have to wait til the weekend to undo everything again and see where i went wrong.

any input? ideas? gonna goto a junkyard and try to find another one way valve.
