Supra injectors

Supra injectors

Postby JavaJoe_2 » Sun Sep 16, 2007 1:45 pm

I bought some "1993-95 SUPRA 3.0 23250-46030/46031 325cc" injectors from TRD4LIFE. I ran the p/n and it does come up as 93-95 supra as above, but something just doesn't seem right.
Are these plug and play?? They seem to be shorter than stock and do not seat like the factory injectors.
Sorry for the poor picture quality:Image
Will they work? I took everything apart and decided not to try them until I can get a confirmation. The factory one's have four holes and the others have only two.

The Supra injector on the left... (yes it does appear to be the proper injector) where did the black beveled type seal come from?

The MKIV Supra (2JZ-GE) injectors do have two as opposed to four holes, but do not let this fool you, the injectors are calibrated accordingly, the two holes do flow more than the 4. Whereas I up/downgraded to MKIII supra 440cc injectors... go figure four holes, lol.

Also as long as the distance from the seat on your runners to the seal on your fuel rail is the same, the protuding extension measurement should be irrelevant, as far as I know anyhow, which is unfortunately enough for both of us... not that far.

Thanks, I goofed up the reinstall of the old ones.
So it looks like I'm going to take it all back apart and I'll throw the supra injectors in and give them a try then.
Thanks again.
I found TRD's old f/s thread and verified they are a plug and play.

I know they sit differently, plus you've got to hardwire the Supra connectors. I just had mine taken out to put in some RC370cc injectors, those sit differently too.

Hardwire, I was told that they are plug and play?
Injectors are in, but doesn't run. Too much fuel? What should I set my cp-e fuel control at -5, -10, -15???
I might have to reinstall the old injectors and see it that is the cause.
The front bank right header is hot, so is the rear left....all the others are cold.
Runs VERY rough I also don't like the Magnacore wires...difficult to tell if they are on or not.

disconnect your battery.... connect the two wires from the CAR to eachother for 60 to 90 seconds...
DO NOT SHORT THE BATTERY ITSELF, short the leads from the car.
What this will do is create a loop for all the capacitors in the car's electronics to discharge... It will also clear out your car's learned fuel trims.

Then reconnect the battery.
Try to start the car again.
