Why 1MZ TRD S/C cannot work on 3MZ ??
I'm just trying to figure it out why 1MZ TRD S/C cannot fit and work on 3MZ ??...but surely I'll do it faster by asking the question directly. Before and I was a pure noobie I was just taking what you guys said about it...but since I know 1MZ and 3MZ block are the same...do the head are the same or what it is different ?? I think VVT-i came on Gen 1.5 isn't it ??
What is the main problem about installing TRD S/C 1MZ on a 3MZ ?
To avoid the S/C problem I was thinking of a turbo setup...I read a lot and yeah it would be an option...but a complicated option. I read all the tech info on Garrett website. But I was wondering...why using a turbo even if it is more efficient, I wouldn't not need extra PSI...6-7 PSI with a S/C would be the maximum I would put it. Also turbo means custome Y-pipe and return pipe...but I'm planning to get the JPP if the result can be good (I'm realistic tho).
Other options...other S/C company. I wrote Vortech about it...they will probably tell me same thing as Eaton S/C.
If you guys can answer my topic subject question...I'll appreciate !
Thanks
