better tune that one... its great for more power, but more power = more likely to damage a piston

get it tuned in properly... I'd just be careful, I've heard of many people blowing their motors on here. You have headers?

with all my supporting mods, does 1.5 psi really create that much of a problem?

wideband is refering to wideband o2 which is needed for tuning the whole fuel map. hit up a dyno and get it tuned in

isn't this what the split second fuel calibration deals with?

A wideband o2 sensor goes in your exhaust seperate of the other oxygen sensors. It hooks up to a digital display inside that shows you your cars air/fuel ratio. You then use that info to add fuel at lean rpm/load places. With your SS FTC it controls part throttle as well as WOT so u have to tune the whole map based on different circumstances

you are really helpful! so can i do this with my ss ftc? or do i have to take it to a dyno shop?

well.. under closed loop (WOT) your S.S. will take over completly, under open loop (anything lower than 90-100% throttle) your ECU will change things, you S.S. will still have input to the ECU, but the ECU will adjust things at will.

You can get a wideband o2 setup which allows for a gauge that can be hooked up inside the car to see what your running for air/fuel ratio. To get tuned in, the easiest is to go to a dyno. Street tuning is more complicated.

your split second won't show if you are running lean or not.. you have to go to a dyno or somewhere with a wideband o2 to see what you are running, then dial it into the S.S.
