Do you have your fuel setup modified yet? IE: Jim's Fuel Mod, Walboro Pump, etc....

You can get it from pulleyboys.com but like everyone else.. they'll probably say the highest you should go is 5.5 to 6 PSI without modding the internals.. even then you still need the mods i mentioned.. do you have an SAFC II?

i'm new to sc solara's so you have to explain all the mod that you're talking about. i would like to run a slightly smaller pulley..ie for 6lbs with a cai....will that lean me out too much?

Stay 4psi if you dont have new afternarket fuel and SAFC2. No matter what.

You need to take the CAI off. First of all you're running your car lean and you'll blow a knock sensor, second its not helping you anymore. If you dont have fuel mods, DO NOT up your boost. You're gonna run into problems quick. You need an Apexi SAFC 2 ($275?), Jim's Fuel Mod ($200), and a URD modified 190 lph fuel pump (100). You should also get new spark plugs, spark plug wires, and THEN you can get the pulley. IF you dont have ALL of the stuff i listed, your car is done for and thats a promise.

man there is no cheap way of upgrading your pulley, sorry. I have the 6psi and to prevent any issues other have experienced i upgraded the fuel pump, fuel lines, spark plugs/cables and injectors.... maybe u dont have to do the injectors but i do believe the pump, fuel lines, spark plugs/cables are necessary. I was able to run the 6psi without the SAFC II for a while but i dont recommend it. Upgrading is not cheap man so if you are trying to go cheap, strip down your car to get some weight off.

DO NOT JUST UPGRADE PULLEYS!!!!!!

you have to have the mods to support the boost before you up boost otherwise you will be buying an engine.

If you want more power, upgrade everything first, or you will be buying a new engine, which is more expensive than taking the right precautions.

Start at the beginning. Haha Just kidding. Get the plugs and wires first and then the fuel pump. Afterward get the fuel rail mod.

Its good you have IK22's.. those are right.. get a set of wires.. I prefer Magnecor...

Then upgrade the fuel pump to the walbro 190lph pump with Jim's fuel rail mod.

To do this safely I would run larger injectors with a s-afc II and tuning.

Also I would get headers and high flow y-pipe as well as an intake.

Point here is that, to run a certain amount of boost safely, requires many things... It really all depends on how much of a risk you want while enjoying
