Boost downgrade = lean/rich? Question

Boost downgrade = lean/rich? Question

Hello all. Dont trash on me but Ive kind of maxed out my goal for now. I cant afford injectors for a long time since summer class bills are flowin in soon. My car was tuned to a 5.5 Psi which Alamo told me my injectors are max out so Im still running lean at 13 somethiong a/f... I wont be able to afford injectors for awhile which hurts me to leave my project so would it be safe to put the 4 psi back on and drive another 2 to 3 weeks without retuning? I know 13 some A/f on 5.5 is bad. but will throwin on a 4 psi help make it rich or will that lean it out more? I cant afford retuning right now either . Too much stuff going on and I was hoping I didnt have to buy more parts to make 5.5 work right. Please let me know.

would downgrading 5.5 to 4 run rich rather lean and be safe for another 2 week until I get paid to get it tuned at 4 psi.

i'd say it would be just right. some cars just have a problem with running way too lean. Swap back to the 4psi to be safe and even if it were to go rich, its much safer than lean mode.
