upgraded pulley shall slip NO MORE

i upgraded to a 2.7 pulley (i think that's the right part #, sheeez i don't even remember..!) a looooong time ago and i never bothered to change my SC belt. when i finally got the correct belt size, i learned that other members were having trouble with the upgraded boost blowin' knock sensors. so i stopped there. with the smaller pulley on my SC. all these months/years. the problem was/is that the stock SC belt my charger came with slips once in a while, and vibrates LIKE HELL!

sooo anyway, i'm ready to make all the necessary adjustments to accomodate my smaller pulley. i'm gonna git the Fuel Upgrade Kit from URD, is there any thing else i should be looking into???

Didn't we have to have the block rethreaded though for that? and how much do GM knock sensors run?

you already have Jim's Fuel Rail Upgrade?

Other than that, you should be all set if you get that entire package. Can't remember exactly what it all comes with, but as long as you got bigger injectors, fuel pump, "colder" spark plugs, and some kind of computer (SAFC), you'll be good.

^
the URD package comes with all of that.

As for the GM knock sensor, it will fit as long as you have the adapter which comes with the kit provided by ATS. Dats confirmed that they fit w/o any rethreading, but its a tight fit.

I have to ask. What belt did you get? I hear that the Dayco Polycog belt is the best. Just curious what size you got.

SC V6 wrote:its a Dayco Polycog... its different than the stock TRD sc belt... its suppost to grip a lot better.... Jim@foreign recommended it.. but it has 2 barcodes... one is 5060880, and the other is 6pk2235... I think u need te 6pk2235,,, but im not sure.. later

i remember i called my local auto parts store and asked them to fetch me a Dayco Polycog belt no. 5060880...i still have that sucker in storage awaiting install. :|
