I remember someone mentioning a 2psi TRD pulley awhile back. Does it exist? Im alittle busy lately so I cant do my car as planned and need to lower boost to keep it safe for a 7 hour road travel trip to missiouri. I blew my knock sensor and have no time to fix it. Let me know where I can find or borrow one for this month.

The reason the ECU goes into limp mode is to protect the engine. You won't damage it by driving with the CEL on.

You're way too caught up in the CEL. Sure it cuts power, but its not the end of the world. Drive like a normal person during the trip and you'll be fine. If you have a boost gauge, you can see that once you're on the highway, you'll be in Vac and not boosting

Easy to say when Ill br travaling with an extra 1000 lbs almost of stuff.. Thats requires me to press the throttle more harder especiually most of the trip ill be going up hill.. Incorperate that to driving and Ill be hitting boost every now and then wether or not I want to. My car wants to go forward... Down backward down hills. And the car does boost as I reach certain throttle position. WOT it gives full boost. But near it still gives boost.

Dat - I'm aware of when boost comes on, I've had my SC for atleast 3 years now. I just think you're worrying too much about the knock sensor and exaggerating the effects of it. I too had a blown knock sensor for almost a full year. It did cut power, but I only noticed it if I floored the car

My point is just to be easy on the throttle and you'll be fine. Even if you are carrying extra weight, it'll be no problem. The SC can be putting out 4psi and it still wouldn't damage the engine because the timing has been retarded.

Have a safe trip
