Knock sensor relocation

I received 2 GM Knock sensors, both they have a white wire with 2 terminals look like small plugs, non instructions, where its the best place to relocate it , any specific place , Do I have to put both or just one ,my toyota tech. is going to do it this tuesday. Thanks for the answers.

The ATS sensors are intended to replace the OEM sensors in the same exact locations. I wouldn't relocate the ATS sensor b/c they aren't as sensitive and may not pick up any actual knocking.

From my experience, do not cut back the harness for the sensors or you'll have problems with getting a good ground. You should be OK if you splice right behind the OEM plugs before the plastic encasing.
