Alcohol/Meth/Water Injection?

^^when I got it tuned, we stopped after three pulls just to verify the A/F ratio was still ok and I had the volts tweaked to where I wanted it, but each pull netted an additional 10whp.

and thanks joe for posting the pics...those are better than what I originally saw!

Nice...well worth the money. I can't wait to get one of these.

Is there a noticeble differents in power when you use a water injection like aquamist?

Yes, liquid cooled. I don't know?? I bought it this way and it seems pretty fast.

This is the one I have...and the same one javajoe has too. It's not a progressive discharge of the meth as the boost increases. the "brain" can be set to any MAF voltage (0-5) which tells the pump to start injecting. when I first hooked it up, I had set the initial setting too low (~2v) so it was injecting pretty much all the time. I tweaked it a little more so it will come on right as soon as I boost up to max load, but it's a continuous shot of meth, not progressive like you were talking about King.

You'll need to dyno this after the install tho...directions say to decrease A/F ratio down by .5, but for some reason in my case, that wasn't needed...just FYI.

On the front of my injection controller it only has Boost adjustment.
Greg said it was progressive. IDK
All it says is VC-25 not VC-25 MAF, is that what is on your controller? Is it the same.
Got Boost?? :sweet:

hmmm....thanks for the info guys...it gives me a bit more to mull over....I thought that the MAF sensor one would be more adjustable and not just an on/off switch at a certain voltage, so I think I'd rather stick to my on/off with boost psi for now (mainly because I already have one and the other kit is expensive, and I also don't think that they sell just the sensor/controller separately haha)

and yeah...the need for tuning is a must without a doubt, but luckily, I have my trusty wideband and I'm comfortable (and pretty decen so far) with my street tunes.

I think that the boost on/off switch will do for my needs at this point, mainly because I just want to be able to run a bit higher boost- probably looking at 8psi soon without worrying about detonation. As well, I am also going to look into timing advancement as well and I should be able to pick up some pretty decent power from all this

I'll let ppl know as I progress....give me a couple months lol.

and I wish I could intercool....that liquid to air is sezy as hell...
HaHa
