IK22 vs NGK Iridium IX

I read on here constantly how everyone is using the Denso IK22's, but i am using NGK Iridium IX spark plugs with the Magnecore 8.5mm Wires.

How much of a diffrence in performance are the two? which is better? has anyone tried both and like one better than the other?

Im just wondering, to see wat my options are when i do my spark plugs agian, later down the road.

i use the ngks because they seem to last longer than the denso. I've used both. Performance wise, it seems the same.

Replacing Spark Plugs

Postby nippondrifterae111 » Wed Dec 05, 2007 8:11 pm

I'm a new owner of a Toyota Solara V6, and it's the first time i've owned one so I don't know much about the engine or transmission. From what I saw under the hood, getting to the 3 plugs on the back looks hard cause it's underneath the intake manifold. Can anybody help?

yea, take the intake manifold off, haha.

I dont see any other feasable way to do that, cause the space in that are is REALLY limited...
