Premium is different depending on state. Premium here is 93, and about $3.20 to $3.30/gal.

Southern gas is always cheaper than most places. GA, SC & NC are usually cheap too.

Regular here is around $2.99 most places, but you can get it for $2.80ish.

Well since this has gone off topic enough I'll just contribute. Here in the Nky area most stations premium is 93, a few places like Speedway only have 92. In Ohio its 93 as well and some Sunocos in Cincy even offer 94, which I always used in my Talon. That stuff was worth it for the best timing advance. That and Shell V-power a close second gave me the best performance from looking at datalogs. BP is crap and I continue to avoid it to this day.

Which station? I though all Sunocos were:
reg = 87
plus = 89
premium = 93
ultra = 94

____
Cheap stations sometimes have 92 for premium (as TMMK said)

The one on 46 near my place, not the one where we met up next to (sound city), the next one east from that.

Premium = 91.

I think the only place that offers 94 octane around us is Shell's V-power

Lower octane premium is usually in Cali, or in high altitudes where the air pressure is lower, compression is lower, and knocking is less prevalent. They even sell 85 in some Rockies states, which is perfectly good for cars requiring 87 with their thin air.

I thought all of Jersey was 93 premium.

Also, Jersey has one of the cheapest gas prices right now in any state. I read a (poorly written) article about 2 weeks ago that said Jersey was the only state left with gas under $3/gal...AND we don't have to get out of the driver seat to fill up. What do you think of that?
