Injector upgrading

Hello newbie to this part of the forum Im going to be boosting at 4psi ...I will be upgrading my fuel rail and pumps as recommended ...

I have a question on the Injectors can I use stock injectors or should i upgrade them aswell I won't be going 5 psi I search around but don't quite seem to find what i am looking for ..if I decide to upgrade should I go with 305cc 318, or 330 as some Sc guys are using any feedback greatly appreciated ... thanks

your gonna get a lot of varying views on this one.....

Jim is using stock injectors and they work fine with his returnless fuel system. They seem to be holding up to the task across the band according to his fuel pressure regulator.

I did upgrade my injectors. When I was in the process of doing so, no one else had been using the stock injectors (to our knowledge), so I played it safe and got some, just like everybody else.

If the Jim you are refering to is me, my fuel system is a return style with adjustable regulator and boost port to add fuel pressure with boost. I am running stock injectors and 7-8 psi boost. If you are going to stick with 4 psi, the only thing you need to do is run "Jim's fuel upgrade". Makes a big difference even at 4 psi.

another question if running at 4psi with jims fuel upgrade do I also need a diff fuel pump I was thinking 190 or should I stay with stock since I won't be boosting any higher ?

you might as well get the fuel pump, it only can help! i just got boosted, and dont have a fuel pump yet; its running fine, but im still going to get the walbro just for the extra comfort.

i would say that it's not a necessity, you'll be fine with the stock pump at just 4psi........but if you ever wanted to upgrade or if your even just contemplating it, go ahead and get it.

yeah I haven't boosted yet waiting to order my jim's fuel upgrade just something I had in the air but reading all the stories of boosting at 5 and even 6 is tempting
