Has anyone financed their car through toyota financing and taken advantage of the graduate rebate? it varys from area to area from $400 to $1000 bucks. If so, what kind of proof did you need to produce? I called toyota finance and they couldnt give me a straight answer. they said to ask my local dealer, but he didn't have a clue. HELP!!!

Hi, I'm financing through Toyota and asked about the Graduate rebate when I was doing the paperwork. The only thing the salesman told me was that it's usually for new graduates who hasn't established a good line of credit yet... he told me that people that get it end up with really high interest rates... sorry I couldn't help more, that's all I know...

I financed through Toyota and I got a $750 Toyota rebate, it was some kinda promo they had going a couple months ago. I have heard of that student/graduate thing, but don't know anyone who's used it.

I purchased the car late January and saw that Toyota had a rebate a few months later. If that $750 rebate is for student/graduate, then it's a great thing to take advantage of. Did you get the rebate right away or you have to mail it in?

Mine was an instant rebate too. Actually I graduated 2 years ago from the time of purchase, but the salesman said he will hook me up with the student graduate discount. I forgot what the exact discount was, I think it was around a few hundred.

i actually purchased my car with the college rebate. i believe its an instant rebate once they run the paperwork through toyota financing. the thing though i believe you need to submit to your dealership's financial manager is a transcript (they didn't say official or unofficial) from the college or university you have graduated from and i think they also need like a letter as proof of employement from your current occupation to verify you have some sort of income. i dunno if the second part is necessary or not (considering the economy and how some of my friends have yet to find a job) since that may be mainly the financing part of it if you go through toyota but the transcript i believe is neccessary as proof that you have graduated from school.

hopefully that helps you on any information you need

Toyota Finance did not ask, I volunteered my two most current paystubs, not sure if it's required.
