LOL.

Listen Kung Fighting Dude:

You may have high hopes for your car, but we are all familiar with the platform. Almost everyone on this forum owns a solara. What makes you think that you can take your 157hp solara and possibly get 250-280 hp out of it without spending a TON of money. In another thread you just said you don't have money to buy a v6, now in this thread you claim that you don't want a v6 because it already has power. The solara is NOT tuner friendly, and I'll bet it costs over 10k to get your i4 up to 280hp with suspension and brakes to support it.

If you are trying to gain our respect by making these unrealistic claims, its not working. Infact, its doing the opposite.

If you want to take an i4 and make it faster, buy a honda civic. You are getting things confused. Its not easy to double your horsepower, and its not free either. Plus the more heavily modded you are, the less driveable the car becomes.

Before you start another post about how much power you'd LIKE to have, start thinking about what you are really going to do. Its nice to dream, but please don't clutter this board with your unrealistic aspirations.

You are more than welcome to post here, and we are here to help, but you need to start acting more mature. Get the ball rolling with some mods before you can even think of hitting that high of horsepower. Plus you are banking on TRD releasing a supercharger for the solara.

Good luck with your car modding, but please look around at how hard some guys have struggled to get ~300 with their v6s, and you intend to do this on an i4 which has 2 fewer cylinders.

In his defense, the 2AZ will probably have a better PERCENTAGE gain due to some of the characteristics... but ya... the Solara isn't a rocket ship. Once you hit a certain age, you'll learn that :P

Even if the SC is compatible, you don't know if it will fit in.

Even if you SC the car, its still a long way from the 280hp you talk about.

I don't mean to discourage you, but please read and learn from other members. Its very difficult to achieve high power numbers

Not to flame you or anything dude but that's the Supra from The Fast and the Furious so I seriously doubt him owning it. If so then cool but I really don't think so.

The SC looks like it will fit (with minor modifications of the tubing) but the fuel lines are different :-?
