Does anyone consider the solara's doors to be big? i mean if u open them on the highway i think ud be able to take off..on the other hand they would make a great scissor door conversion...how strong is the 2az for the 04 solara can it take more than 350 hp?

the car itself is pretty long so it would look wack if it had small doors... and i think it looks better with the long doors... but they are probably a bitch in tight parking spots...just use wind in those cases...lol

It would only make sense for such a big car to have big doors. I would not recommend parking in tight spaces unless you're wanting a door ding...lol

Door Dings?

Postby humm » Mon Jul 05, 2004 12:28 pm

Door Dings???
:evilbat:
Even though I always try to park far out on the edges of any parking lot I pull into (not always possible in crowded places) I picked up a slight ding a few days ago. :2gunfire:
I think that any attempt to use touch up paint will look BAD so I was wondering if anyone has found a way to fix this problem?
Tks,

slow down, Focus on one question at a time. If you want a question about the engine, dont ask it in a thread titled solara doors, it will probably get overlooked, as it has so far. And the doors are that big so you can get in and out of the backseat easier, ever tried getting in the backseat of say an acura integra coupe. You'll be loving the solara doors after that

LOL. The reason the solara has large doors is because its a 2DOOR! You have to be able to access the rear seats.

The quick answer to your engine question is no, without serious serious mods. If you want to know more, ask it in a different thread

These doors are a lot smaller than the doors on my Grand Am GT. Those things were huge and heavy.
