duest in the headlights?

hey i dunno if its just me but today when i came back home from work i noticed that there seems to be some dust in the main headlights for my car. i looked at it real hard and its not really noticable with the way the light is refracted/reflected off the lens. i just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed any dust on their lens or is it just the light being refracted and i'm working way too much

Is it actually inside the headlight housing or just surface abrasions on the lens? This happens to pretty much every headlight with a plastic cover and is just a part of normal wear and tear. Sand, bugs and the like can make them look cloudy. If this is your problem there are products made for clearing up the lenses. Meguairs makes something called PlastX. I have personal experience with Blue Magic plexiglass cleaner, that stuff works great.

It clearly looks like it is on the inside of the headlight housing. The outside is clear. What looks like dust is clearly visible when the headlights are on. I've taken a picture of it. I'm sure most people have seen this.

i haven't had a chance to look at the headlights again since its been raining all day but tomorrow should be clear so once i can take another look i will check it out to make sure. but i am pretty positive its on the inside of it.. either way.. if it is on the inside, is there a way to remove to clean it out or should i take it to the dealer?

well i finally had a chance to check them and it does seem like there is dust in the headlights. is it easy to remove the casing to clean and should i use any specific cleaner for them or should i take it to the dealer?

Yes, I've had this problem since I got my Solara in November. It sucks cause theirs nothing I can really do about it!
