Alright, so the 04 SE Sport V6 is supposed to come with the aluminum pedal covers right? I just looked at my car and it doesnt have them. in fact my brake pedal doesnt even have a rubber cover on it. I was driving the car earlier today and i noticed my armrest squeaks when i put a lil pressure on it. This car is really awesome, except for a few minor problems which i think was just my dealer. I mean, on the rear bumper, it looks like one of hte clips/hooks isnt attached to the bumper cover. I tried pushing it in thinking maybe thats all i need to do, but nothing. So, i have to wait till i go back to orlando next week and then bitch out the toyota dealer there.

whew...sorry, i just needed to vent. ive had this car for 5 days now and im noticing a lot that i thought i wouldnt for at least a couple of years.

Yep, that sucks. It's practically impossible to catch every defect when you first pick up a new car...I spent about 45 minutes looking my car over. Pissed off the salesperson big time, but I don't give a crap about that.

I still missed a split seam in the rear leather seat and a headlight with moisture inside. Just keep at em', and make em' fix every single thing you're not happy with no matter how big or small it is.

Get your moneys worth!

File a complaint with Toyota Motor Sales. They are entitled to give you anything that should have been in the "package" you purchased.

Let them know which salesman and whoever else you dealt with during this incident... that's a bunch of crap when they do crap like this

Which Orlando dealer?

Courtesy Toyota

And as for filing a complaint; I'll give them one more chance when I go back to Orlando later this week. If they don't get everything fixed, I'm gonna raise he**

Yeah, thats surprising especially from Courtesy. They used to be Jimmy Bryan and they were great. I bought from Toyota of Orlando though, couldn't be any happier.

Yea, my old Camry was bought from Jimmy Bryan and I had absolutely no complaints about it. But I was kinda shocked when i realized that i had so much missing or so many little problems with the car that needs to be fixed.

On a tangent...can the left hand drift on the car be fixed? I mean is it just an alignment problem or a tire balancing problem?

Team Toyota in Lithia Springs was pretty bad too. Everyone was nice, but you have to deal with too many people that don't seem to talk to each other. My V6 SLE didn't come with a spoiler so I added one. It has taken a month to get the thing in and they lied to me several times about it being ordered. I was told this morning that they got it in and I'll have it installed on Monday. I wouldn't have minded if they had said look this is going to take a month; being told twice that it would be there in 2 days led me to slam them on the Toyota survey.

I had some of the salesmen tell me that the antenna was IN THE WINDOW WITH THE FM ANT. WHAT ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!! Total RETARDS!! Mall of GA toyota got very bad reviews from me.

Buying a car sucks because of all of the bad people you deal with...it is fun to look and all but once they know you are ready to buy it gets ugly. I had all of my financing arranged in advance and they still tried to waste my time with trying to beat the deal I had (which they couldn't do). The crazy thing is that I went to Team Toyota because of a deal my bank had through them - and they weren't too happy when I they learned that Team tried to squeeze them out of the picture.

I can't just point the finger at car dealerships though. It seems like dishonest/anything for a buck people gravitate to sales. They put a short term paycheck before what is best for the company & the customer. I work in telecom and have almost, but not quite, been numbed to how often people screw the customer in the short term to get a quick payoff when they could make tons more over the long term by determining the customer's needs and trying to meet them. They sell on price just like a car dealer tries to sell on how much you want to spend rather than what is the right car.
