What has your driving experience been like using the Bridgestone Turanza EL42 with the V6 models wtih traction control in snowy weather? Reason I ask I have had this car for only a week and experienced one rainy day. I thought I was going to get into an accident because they seem to have very little traction. I need to get these tires off my car before this winters first snow fall or I am in for serious trouble. I can not comprehend how such a beautiful car and have such crappy tires. When I bought my celica ten years ago it came with quality tires. How the times have changed.

I made it through the worst winter in a while with no problems at all. Never slipped much. The traction control and anti-slip worked great with the OEM tires.

I'm still kicking myself that I didn't workout a deal with my dealer to get REAL tires when buying my Solara. Thank god I have sticky Yokohama's on now for the summer. For next winter I won't even consider keeping these piece of garbage Turanzas. Never in a million years will I ever consider a bridgestone tire again (except the SO-3's).
