and have no regrets what-so-ever. BTW, this is my first post here and would like to say hello to everyone. I went through 2 transmissions and have had other problems with my 96 Mitsubishi 3000GT. I went for the Solara because of it's sexy styling, good performance, excellent quality, reasonable price tag, interior quality, ride quality, and the added benefit is that is is faster than my 3000GT! Obviously, Toyota is a better car maker than Mitsubishi and I will never buy Mitsubishi again considering the headaches I had. I hope Toyota lives up to its reputation. So I would like to welcome myself to the Toyota community and Solara Guy Community. :drinking: Cheers.

If I had VR-4 with the same problems, you better believe I would trade that in too. The Solara is a much more practical car that doesn't take money from you daily. i always compared my 3000GT to a hot, bombshell that wants the neccesities in life. Yes, she looks good on you, and all your friends want a ride, but that gets old and you become broke and angry and get rid of it anyway.
