Is the driver's side mirror on the SLE just tinted, or is it actually photosensitive like the rearview mirror, and only dims when exposed to bright headlights? I am thinking about adding the rearview and driver's side mirrors to my SE, but the alternative is window tint, although I don't like tinted windows during night time driving.

The SLE side mirrors also defrost

The drivers side mirror is self dimming in the SLE. In addition both mirrors have defrost ability. When the button is pushed to defrost the rear window the two mirrors also are put in defrost mode!

I wonder if the wiring looms are the same so that I would gain that functionality as well. If so, I'll replace both mirrors.
