Anyone use RainX on the windshield and have any issues with it? Does it hurt over time the rubber on the wipers?

Just make sure you wash the windows real good before applying it. Wouldn't know why it would hurt the rubbers on the wipers. I rarely used the wipers after putting on rainx.

I've heard the alcohol in the RainX is suppose to be bad for the wiper blades. But I too, seldom use the wipers when I good coat of RainX is applied. I love the stuff. Hey, if I need to replace the blades a little earlier than usual, it's not a big deal to me.

Works great in the rain but I think I made a mistake applying it to my window though. For some reason, my window became very waxy and everytime light hits it, the shiny wax blocks my vision. I almost hit a wall coz of it :-?

How do you guys apply it? My remedy was to run it over with my wiper blades 10 times until there's a uniform track of 2 half-circles on my window. That way, every time light hits the window, it only creates 2 lines that go like a speedometer depending on which angle the source light is. Kinda fun to look at :)

I love RainX also--applied it the week I got my new Solara 2.0. I apply it at night in my Garage and hold a light at differnt angles to make sure I have wipped it all off. Otherwise, the glass can be a little cloudy for a while.

-in general, great stuff.

Clean the windshield, apply Rain-X, then wash with car wash.
