SE Sport shocks sufficient enough for lowering springs?

The SE Sport model has sport-tuned shock absorbers and springs. I'm wondering if these shocks will be sufficient enough for aftermarket lowering springs? Does anyone know? If so, I can save myself from buying aftermarket shocks as well.
