lol....im only posting this just in case someone tries the fog light mod. i made a post a few days ago saying i completed the task of modding the fog lights to be independent. last night i was outside taking some pictures and realized my DRL lights were not on....so today, i tore into the underdash piece and spent about 4 hours trying to figure out why the drl's werent coming on, but the high beams were. i undid all the solder reverted to stock config and still nothing. tested all the fuses and even the relays....but all of them were good. called toyota and they had no clue..said to bring it in for an 85dollar trouble shoot..they tech guy thought mybe something on the ecu was fried or i blew a relay or a bad wire in the harness.....so there i was kicking myself in the butt for even trying the blasted thing when a thought hit me.....the drl's are DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS....meaning the car for 1 has to be on and 2 the ebrake down, so i reconnect everything all over again and sure enough, when i started the car and put the ebrake down, the DRL's came on....yea im an idiot lol. but just incase someone else tries it and forgets take my idiotcy as a lesson !!!!!!

I killed my DRL's two days after I bought it. I find them annoying, and they make the car look like its half asleep.

well, i have stage 2 hyper yellow fog lights and hibeam/drl bulbs with red neon undercarriage.....so the yellow drls give the impression of a pissed off look which totally go with the red neons lol



this was the old set up .... i hve to take new pics with the fogs on...looks like a hell bug or something....i dont kow, im also easily amused lol

That looks really good. The "amber" DRL's always bugged the hell out of me even with "white" bulbs. May have to go all the way to yellow since I never use the high beams anyways. The HID's should be more than adequate for the usual high beam applications. Anyone disagree?
