headlight problem (battery dead now..)
so i received like 10 emails from people at my company saying my alarm has been going off..i run to my car thinking somebody hit it! i was ready to fuk somebody up..turns out it was my damn headlights..
i usually use the "auto" setting for my headlights but every once in a while i use the manual setting of switching on and off for them. i noticed i left them on "on". when i locked my car walking a away, i figured it would turn off automatically like it usually does..well i came back from lunch around 1:10pm..it is now 4:16pm while im typing this..and my headlights do not turn on due to the certain voltage i need for my HID's to kick on im guessing..
my alarm system is "avital 4400". from what my buddy said, since the voltage went so low from the battery, it sent a signal to my alarm which set it off.
anyone know if this is a wiring problem from the headlights or the alarm system? my friend and i installed this couple of years ago..never really had a problem like this.
