Interior gauges not lighting up?

Interior gauges not lighting up?

Postby behrozec34 » Mon Aug 25, 2008 10:55 pm

I turned on the car last night and non of the gauges (speedo, rev, etc) were lit up. I tried all the light settings and nothing seemed to work. I'm probably gonna end up bringing it to my audio shop, but any recommendations are much appreciated.

Check the fuse box under the steering column (nearest to where your left foot would be resting.) Look for a 10 amp fuse which will be red. I forgot which number it is under there but your manual will state it. I believe its #21 or 22. GL! 8)

Also, try turning the trip odometer knob. A while back i was messing with it in the day time, and I ended up turning it all the way to the left. Later that night when i tried to go out, none of my gauges were lighting up, nor was my radio. I later realized that the dimmer is on the stem of the trip odometer and i had turned them all the way off.
So try messing with the knob on your trip odometer lol....

I'd try all that and if no luck, would probly put an ignition switch in it
