Summer production ramp-up of Convertible begins

We have been building 34 bodies a shift since I came to the Solara Convertible line. (They limit this with a cycle limiter that prevents the bodies from moving when the processes are done until the timer hits the magic number. This is not a continually moving line like the rest.)

Friday it was raised to 40. I hear we will be at 50 to 55 soon, which is close to capacity and the cycle limiter is then turned off. HP

Cool! :D

I drove by an '07 Convert (same color as mine) today down here in La Jolla (North San Diego) and the guy was checking my ride out as we were side-by-side for about a mile and a half along the beach. He finally sped up and gave me a thumbs-up. :)

I still don't like the front/rear bumpers on the Gen 2.5 - and feel pretty good about the '07 mods I have done.

I've got some fun lighting upgrades coming soon - that will address my current lack of backup lights too. ;)
