Wiper Blades

Wiper Blades

Postby Gunga » Fri Jan 12, 2007 8:10 pm

After 6 months of owning a 2006 I am finally driving it in a lot of rain. Am finding that the wiper blades flote of the windsheld at about 65mph.

Any recommendations for a fix, or replacement set?

I put BOSCH wipers on my car and they are wonderful. If you do get the BOSCH blades, get the 1 piece blades- the ones that have the fin on the top. All you can see is the rubber that goes across the glass, and the rubber fin on the top. They don't have all of the metal "hinge" things exposed, which is part of why the OEM wipers don't work very well.

^^ Now those are GOOD. I have them right now, and I'm never going back to hinged ones again, and you should switch to it too.

Absolutely! They are great. They are a bit mor expensive than a traditional hinged blade, but when it gets cold and icy (as it does here in Wisconsin) they perform like a champ.

Bosch Icons rock... I've never had wiper blades that wiped so effectively...
