A couple questions that came to mind when I installed an '07 head unit tonight.

1. What color illumination do you have for the clock/mpg displays and the HVAC display (SLE). I notice the stereo went blue.

2. The AUX input with your JBL 6-disc must plug in just like the aftermarket ones. So where did they put the AUX input jack? In the center console? I was hoping they had an integrated jack up front but that's not the case.

[edit] found one answer...This is an SLE. The negative is much nicer on the mpg guages. But the HVAC remains green.[/edit]

I believe the aux input is in the lower front compartment, where the outlet is... (I remember seeing a pic of it around here somewhere...)

The aux jack is in the lower center compartment. The gauges are all blue colored.

Thanks... one more odd question for someone with an '07 SLE.

The HVAC controls have the manual mode when you change something on your own. (fan, mode, etc.) In the '04 if you shut off the car and start back up, it's still in Manual mode but it will check the temp and choose whether to go to recirc air or fresh air. Does the '07 still do that?

To test you could put in on fresh air in manual then turn the car off an on to see if it changes. If not the put it on recirc and turn the car off an on again. If it stayed the same both times, then it's been fixed and manual is now manual. If it changed then it's same ol' same ol'.

I may have to roll by the dealer and just poke around an '07 myself.

We just picked up an 07 for my wife last week. We love it!

The HVAC stays in the same mode. If Auto was on, it stays on.
