remote starter and just let ur car warm up so
you wouldnt have to worry bout that

oh and that 1-2 mm ur cutting off...there's gotta be
a reason why ppl that get paid an easy 5-6 digits a year put that there...

I dunno - he says that a "hummer" won't help do it... but I think it would help get ME heated up in the cold! :D

Come on guys. Settle down. I'm sure something was lost in translation.

We should support the only Solara in the Ukraine.

Thanks for the input. You are brave to import a car where there are no Toyota dealers to service it.

I have had issues with a very small gap between the seal and the window. Occasionally I get sprayed at the car wash or hear wind noise going down the interstate. I've never noticed any contact with plastic though.

I too live in a cold region but no where near as frozen as the Ukraine. If you have ice build up on the seal, try coating it with something to prevent build up. (A light layer of Vasoline or something of the like to repel water.)

If you have some close up shots of what you had to shave off, perhaps that might help explain.

Thanks!
B

come on guys, ease up. We all probably did something creative to our cars to make something else easier.

Props to you Yehor. If it works for you and your satisfied and your taking the time to make a DIY for someone else who may be in the same problem with a good write up WITH pixs, hell more power to ya!
