It's 2009 and I have recently purchased a 2006 SLE convertible. I notice a fair bit of cowl shake when I go over bumps. In my old Miata, a FSB did wonders for the car, but my Miata didn't have one before I installed mine. A "style bar" also really helped stiffen up the car. In looking at the stock FSB on the Solara, I can see where it might not be all that strong. I'm leaning toward doing both the FSB and RSB (strut bar and sway bar, respectively, though the same acronym), and trying to figure out which to do first. Will update the thread if I do the FSB first so anyone who comes after me can get an idea of the impact of the improvement.
