3rd Brake Light...
Old topic with different twist...
Anyone have ideas on getting under the third brake light? This was asked in two threads about tinting... but this is slightly different.
After installing my subs, whenever it hits hard, there is a lot of rattling. I had a friend sit in the back and he pinpointed the problem to the brake light (surprised me too! I thought it would have been the same rattling as everyone else's... the cargo tray, but I guess my car was manufactured at a later date... but anyways...) This was further confirmed by pressing the brake light down and bumping the music... the rattling went away...
So, his suggestion was to either pad it or get sound deadener under there... now, the hard part... how the heck do I get under there? Would it be easier/harder than if I were to take it apart for tinting the window? (I figure I might as well get tinting done at the same time if it will be a biyatch...)
