sport interior on the convertible?

The rag top interior trim only has 2 choices - SE and SLE. The sport package is not an option in the 04 or 05.

From the pics, it looks like they substituted the carbon fiber inserts from a SE Sport coupe instead of the normal SE fake aluminum trim.

Can you buy the carbon fiber inserts yet? I hate the fake wood in my SLE.

To be honest with ya, I think the simulated wood looks kind of strange in the dark interior, but they look really good in the ivory.

I agree with you! I'm bringing the car to the dealer next week for them to replace the rear deck & moon roof so I may ask them then.

The sport interior is standard on the Solara
Convertible SE V6. Except its not called a sport package. The sport seats, guage, and the graphite trim are standard. The only difference is that the body kit is an option.

THere is no body kit available as an option for the Convertible SE V6 nor any other Solara, coupe or convertible. It comes standard on the coupe's SE Sport.

The body kit is available as an option for the 05 SE convertible. Check out page 3 - 2005 brochure.

Wow, interesting news. But it looks like it is still an option you can only buy when you purchase not later I'm guessing. Still I'm sure it makes those who bought '04 SE convertibles and didn't have the choice upset. Wonder what the cost is and if it is done at the factory, port, or dealership.
