Parts & Accesories Shopping

Ok guys, I did a search and came up with nothing on the board. Besides toyotaparts4u.com, and the obvious ebay, where else can I shop for stuff? All of the Gen 1 and Gen 1.5 stuff on ebay outnumbers our stuff 5 to 1. Also, any word on the dash kit for stereo's yet?

Shop at my store...

Postby michaels artic frost » Thu Sep 02, 2004 5:57 am

Jewls,

I think we all know what you're going through. You can shop at My Website...jk. :drinking:

I'm actually working on a few things for my car and hope to try to make it available to Gen 2 Solaras. I wonder what I'm going to do if someone actually buys my ride.

As for the dash kit, no ETA as of yet, however they do have a part # and it's still in development. I've been on top of this for the past two months. Those companies are tired of me calling and emailing.

I've already got my DVD System and am currently looking for headrest monitors.

Good luck with your search. As soon as I hear any news of the kit being available, I'm sure someone or myself will post the infos.

I confirmed with Crutchfield and they said that it will not fit and they do not recommend it.

The picture below looks like it would be perfect, but I'm afraid to get it.
Part# BKTOYK982 2005 Toyota Sienna w/pocket $29.95. What do you guys think? Actually, my parenst have a 2004 Sienna. Looks like I'll be paying them a visit and see if it looks anything like the Gen 2s. I love the fact that the pocket is at the top because my 7" WS display will not block much of my air. I hope our kit looks like that. :D

I hope it works, but looking at the picture it doesn't seem so. It looks like the side edges are too straight (not enough of an angle) to fit the Solara. On top of that, the anchors are to the sides, so unless there are some other anchor points in the back, there may not be a way to install it.
