I went again to Napi DragWay.
I did a good job :D ...still need more pratice for the time reaction, it sucks !!
Car 112 = me
Car 111 = my friend in Hyundai Elantra 2001
Car 291 = Acura RSX Type-S (I'm faster in the first 60 foot and 1/8 mile)

Around 2.2 sec for the first 60' is pretty good if I compare even to more powerful car....

I did a best run of 14.816 @ 92.193MPH. 8) haha
I'm fatest then the last time but my all quarter mile MPH are lower.
I use the brake launch at 3000 RPM after having heat my tires.

Thanks guys !! :D I could make better in the last race...I was not enough focused and I didn't rev at 3000 RPM I was more at 1500 RPM before the start I made 15.012....man I could make a reall better time maybe enter the 14.7's...next time (my tire start to suffer of all that...I don'T care they now become officially my draging tire !!). Now my goal is to achieve under 14.9 sec but at an finish MPH. And most important, getting more better reaction time. I know now by some guys there that you have to launch it when the second yellow light turn off. With all the brain lag and car lag you'll have a reaction time around 0.15 sec and under. There was a contest open to all...getting the lowest reaction time (no I didn't win hehe.... ) the guy stole the start for sure. He took a chance and got 0.001 sec hehehe you cannot be faster ! I don'T know what happen when you do a 0.000 reaction time, you got a red light or you got the best ever time ? I know that a red doesn't "broke up" your race. You'll have all your time and MPH at the end of your race. I love drag racing...trying to get a real 100% of your car. I imagine with a S/C or Turbo custom kit + headers...it would be very funny to see the Solara getting under 13.5 sec ! I'm sure it would acheive that with arround 330hp/355 torque. But before that have to be able to manage the VVT-i with Camcon tools and make something for the tranny to not break it. I don't think I'll do that anyway...I'll wait for the 2GR-FE Solara if not I'll take other model with the 2GR-FE or 2GR-FSE...but would be very exciting to have a power beast Solara.

For the pic Micheal...I took it to compare before/after installing cklinh's smoked taillights. I'll try to install them this week-end ! My favorite pic is the one above your favorite one. I like to see the front end in this perspective !

reaction times dont hinder ur quarter mile time at all... they dont start the timing until ur car moves.... just a lil info...

????? :o :o ????? hehehe I know that...I wrote in an old post in the same thread on August 9th...

sebas007 wrote:The reaction time doesn't count in the final time. It's moslty for real drag racing...the first at the finish line. Your time start to be timed when you go out the starting box when the back sensor detect that you're gone.

...but real drag race is the first at the 1/4 mile finish....so for that I need to improve and get in 0.1 reaction time...then I could beat some good cars.
