Huh??? :-? R U using Asian characters again?

Does it show up as "??" ?
I wrote Good Luck in Chinese characters (Which Chineses, Koreans, and Japanese share. Not sure if the characters are exactly same). I thought it went in as unicode, which should have no problem showing up in non asian windows.

Maybe you still need to install eastern asian language support...

Yes - two big red "??"

Why do I need to bog down my system with Asian character fonts?

I don't have a Chinese keyboard - nor can I read/write it. ;)

Not dissin ya bro - just wondering what I was missing, that's all! :D

Alisha! You want I should break der kneecaps or sumptin'?

I am so sorry to hear this crap happening to such a nice person. Not only did you get robbed by the kids but the Toyota dealer as well? I hope insurance covered some of that. Have you spoken to your manager? Does the company have any insurance for this kind of thing? Afterall they are in charge of security at work. Letting kids walk through is unprofessional and unsecure. (Especially in a confidential environment such as an attorney's office.)

Best of luck to ya' girl! Keep your chin up and a small baseball bat handy in case they return.

Well its better to see the actual character than some weired symbols even if you cannot read. You don't have to have IME installed to see characters.
I cannot really read chinese anyway although, since I'm Korean, I do know meaning of some symbols, but not enough to actually read chinese :).

We are supposed to know about 400 symbols by the time we graduate from high school, but I came to the use in middle school. So I only remember quiet few symbols that are easy.

I wonder who can be those little kids' parents.

I don't know for you...but I wouldn't do that (to steal like that) because of good example of my father. Sometimes parents are more responsible then it shows.

thanks B, knew i can always count on u to be there!
The toyota dealership had very nice workers but didnt help me out with the prices. My car was even the talk of the morning cuz they never see solaras hooked up, but they still wouldnt budge with the labor charges. Unfortunately for some reason my insurance company wouldn't cover any of the $$ for everything being done

Holla at me when you get the chance.....also would be a good idea to invest in a "Autolock" ($59.99) so ur ryde doesn't go anywhere over night.

Im surprised your work place isnt taking some responsibility for this, an office full of lawers you would think maybe they would pass a hat around and get you a new purse or something.

I dont know maybe im just too Canadian lol

But what your work place should be doing is having all visitors signing in or out to identify them and the organization they are from, in such a case or any other vandalism even if inocent like tripping over a paint can and getting scared and running out the building your work place can follow up.

I hope you can clean up the mess with as little frustrations as possible.

Is the drawer where you left the purse near a cash register? perhaps your work has a surveilance camera? unless you know what the kids look like.... hunt them down and talk to the parents... let the parents know youve reported it to the police...

couple months back my lil sis got her wallet stolen and they ran after the kids and caught one of them, reported to the police and talked to the parents.... of course the cops did shiiiiitt, but the parents, oh maaaaaan the kids felt the rath of mama's palms across the face!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lucky for ur sis she caught the lil jerks. Unfortunately, I didnt realize this til after they left and I went to get something outta my bag and it was gone. I was hoping someone was playing a joke on me but no one was. I have no cash register at my job since its a law office. There's no money (cash) handled at my job except checks for closings. I wish i could beat the crap outta them also
