if you can get a grille like this to modify...this would be perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!! all you need to do is cut out the inside and replace with mesh!

Has anyones Gen 2 come with this type of grille before?


You'd have to use body filler to smooth out the frame before adding the mesh. But it would look sweet.

It was on ebay a few years ago... Guy that I bought it from worked for the place that made the tundra grilles... So I bid the highest bid since my wife wanted it and I didn't want to get shot by her since she's my thug ho.... lol

damn thats exactly what i pictured in my mind...looks great!!!

if only you could make duplicates of it by making a Mold...could make thousands!!!! on ebay selling them. i would say to charge $200 each lol

if you ever took "sculpture" class...then you should know this is actually an easy process...instead of plaster you would use fiberglass

got it removed and had the hood redone to be even
he also had the trunk completely shaved and evened out
removed the little indent in the spoiler as well

This is kind of way off topic, but interesting.

I just saw a special on the Duesenberg. In 1934, a replacement grill cost around $1400. To put that into perspective, in 1934, you could buy a new Ford for $400.
That grill cost so much because of the intricate metal work that you just dont see on cars today. The whole car cost around $20,000 when the average house cost around $5,000.

I just thought that was pretty interesting.
