I had this problem when I first bought mine too... passenger side was hard to close, so the dealer "adjusted" it. LOL!
After their "adjustments", it stuck up in the air and you could hear wind noise on the pass. side.
I decided to take a look at it and discovered it's easily adjusted without going through all the hassles the manual states.
Just use a crescent wrench and torque the "hook" latch clockwise to tighten it or counter-clockwise to loosen it. (righty-tighty/lefty-loosy) - works like a charm now!
