As I stated in a previous post, my car has a very nice portfolio. It's possible it is a zone thing. For those of you who may not know, Toyotas are sold to dealers by zones. Each section of the US is covered by a certain zone location. For instance, my car came from Gulf States Toyota and sold to my dealer in Port Neches, Texas. Since I worked for a Toyota dealer sometime back, I discovered that some features such a wheels, stripes, rustproofing, alarms are installed at the "zone". That explains some minor difference between cars sold at different parts of the nation. That might explain why my car has a nice portfolio and cars sold elsewhere do not. Just a thought

Wow - this thread has grown to a Page 2 already? ... over a missing plastic pouch for new car docs? :o

My 07 came with a black vinyl holder that had the Toyota logo on it. It was stuffed full with the owner's man, nav manual, and warranty paperwork.

I was working with a great dealer, Janzen Toyota in Stillwater, OK.

OK, is one of the states that GST services. SKC's observation describes what my portfolio looks like. I know to some, this thread may seem foolish. I would venture to guess most everyone who is a member of SG is a car fan in some form or other. To many of us, a small touch like a high end portfolio is important. To others, a supercharger, 20 inch chrome wheels, trick suspension, mean a lot. It just what you are into. After all that's what defines a "car nut".
