the same engine is rated 225 hp in (Solara, ES330) and 330 hp in (Sienna, RX330) - is it just a chip programming?

You may want to correct that to 230 HP.

I'd take the 5HP less with less weight too.
Anyone got the weight of Sienna/RX? They must weight more, right?
I'm thinking of CAI mod (+10HP)?

RX 330 FWD - 3,860 lbs.

You know what would be cool?
Put the 3.3L V6 engine into a Corolla/Celica ~2000lbs -> instant rocket car

for one thing..putting a v6 into a car like the celica would not make sense cuz it would make the car very heavy in front, which is bad enuff cuz its a front wheel drive car and im pretty sure that most of the weight of the car is in the front...could it be done? yeaa....but....seems weird...

Generally most variances in power in models powered by the same engine are due to different intake/exhaust routing. It is generally easier in an SUV to make a straighter exhaust than in a sporty coupe. Also intake routing is often different, which can make a few hp difference. Another possibility is that the SUV/van engine is tuned for more torque at a lower RPM to aid in acceleration, which will affect the rest of the powerband as well.
As far as the V6 in the Celica, no thanks. The 61/39 weight distribution is already bad enough, the last thing I want is more understeer.
