Am trying to take them off but something is keeping them on and am not sure if it has some type of pin system or there just rusted on? I tried pressing the pin type things on the inside but nothing. It doesn't even loosen it a bit?

Anyone? any help or has anyone done this????

thanks for any help!

Lightly hammer the center of the rotor.

Or there should be holes where you can thread bolts in to pop the rotor off.

mind it is a gen2, not to sure if its any different then a gen1. I tried banging them lightly and full on banging!! yes, am aware of the damage i my be causing. But thats not working at all! If thats the case, there rusted pretty bad!!! But am not so sure since am getting no where banging them and am messing with some pins on the inside of the rotor but that also does nothing. So am lost??? i need to replace all the studs, 2 broke off already and mights as well replace them all so i dont have to do this in the future if it comes up

One of my two trips during the install was to find bolts to help remove the rear rotors. Even though I released the parking brake mechanism, my rotors were stuck, possibly due to rust. Luckily, there are two holes on the rotor itself that you can use to "push" the rotor off of the assembly.

The bolts I used were 5/16" (2" long, although you're only screwing it in about 1/4"). They were a tight fit, and took a few tries before the threads actually got lined up. It took about 15 minutes after I got the right sized bolts (kinda wished I had given up on pounding on the rotors earlier... would have saved two hours).
