window tinting

I know that laws very from state to state on the darkness of window tinting, but my question concerns color. my daughter's solara is blue streak metallic with the tan interior. i'm sure that a black tint will look better, but with the tan interior has anyone ever tried the brown tint?

I need to tint my car as well. Personally, I like the black. I think that it all just depends on the color of your car's exterior. With that blue car some dark black would look great. I would love to see the brownish tint though.

Just get black tint, i also think you will end up paying more for colored tint and it looks like Crap

Ive seen the brown tint before and IMO it looks horrible.
I would stick to the black tint.

I have 20% all around on mine.

dont get any colored tint, i think it looks whack.

just stick with like 20 or 35% black tint all around

if/when she gets it tinted, tell her NEVER to clean it with windex or any other glass cleaner. they will turn the tint PURPLE, and it will look like >>I'm a douche<<.

there are "smoked" tints out there, instead of what is considered brown. They are just a slightly different shade of black. I would go to a couple of different tint shops and look at samples against the car and decide, plus a good shop will help make recommendations rather than just trying to get you to buy

not only that but ammonia is what removes the glue to most tints I think...

Is this supposed to happen after the first time you use glass cleaner? I've cleaned my tint with glass cleaner dozens of times and no color changing yet...

my rear windows are like 5. i can't see stuff while backing up. and no matter how hard i peer inside from the outside i can't see anything inside.
