Just so your aware, if either your front or rear O2 / A/F sensors are bad, it may throw a code that suggests the cat is bad.
The cat performance is measured by the difference reading (measured in volts) between the precat O2 or A/F sensor and the O2 sensor after the cat. If either one isnt reading the voltage right, it may throw throw a bad cat code.
Its usually the O2 sensor after the cat thats gone bad in such a situation, as a voltage problem on the O2 sensor before the cat usually throws a different code.
